yeah, it’s unfair that garrosh becomes a boss after he was thrust into the position of warchief with all his self-esteem issues because that’s thrall’s fault. we know him and vol’jin had an argument, but we don’t know why (that quest shows the latter half of a conversation…vol’jin could’ve been like “your MOM was a human, mon”). he killed cairne but not really, and he has the task of keeping in sylvanas in check BUT

before he even called her a bitch, garrosh gave her an attitude. like “ew sylvanas youre so gross why aree you all dead how could you let that happen you really let yourself go”. i interpreted sylvanas’ sarcasm (/salute) not as a threat to the horde, but more as disrespect for an inept warchief (which garrosh really is…like..REALLY ZEPS TO TH REALLY). 

and yes, sylvanas plagued SS and says its for the horde and does questionable things, but she’s a great leader. she has tact. obvi you cant make ud babies so sending in troops to die in a garrosh-style head-on attack simply won’t do. it jsut wouldnt make sense. not just because she uses the forsaken as a “shield”, but as a normal (forget her being a banshee for 2 seconds) leader whose soldiers are few, IT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE. like “oh shit all my men died welp i guess i’ll retire at my cottage by the lake”.

ive done the worgen starting area (i hated killing ud npcs) and they sure do make her look evil, but…she’s the enemy of course she has to be evil. selfish, much, genn? holing yourself up while your allies need you? no wonder why sylvanas has no qualms killing some dogs.

sylvanas has a really big (and loyal) fanbase cuz you see glimpses of humanity in her. the blood elves, the necklace quest, how much she hated arthas, how protective she is over her people and their claim to lordaeron. like…i pmuch crey’d during her speech in silverpine. 

saying garrosh deserves being end-game more than sylvanas or vice versa doesn’t solve issues with either characters. so while i obvi love sylvanas more than garrosh, i dont want garrosh to be killed because i mean…sylvanas is still plaguing things without consent. and even if sylvanas died would that solve garrosh’s issues? 

people hate garrosh and love sylvanas because sylvanas is very well-written. we don’t GET garrosh. okay you have daddy issues but we thought thrall solved that. teh fact that ud is a playable race helps too. like yeah we’re not high elf undead, but we’re not under the control of the scourge (same as sylvanas) BECAUSE of sylvanas. even before she became a banshee she proved herself capable of leadership. all garrosh has done is be all like QQ GREATMOTHER QQ YOURE SICK IM NOT READY TO LEAD THE MAGHAR QQ MY DAD DRANK DEMON BLOOD WAT UGH WHAT AN ASSHOLE QQ THRALL HELP QQ I CANT BE WARCHIEF I DONT THINK BUT OK ILL DO IT ANYWAY THEN GET REALLY RACIST IN THIS BITCH.

with the exception of remorse for cairne and the quest in stonetalon, writers havent given garrosh a reason to appeal to players which is why people are quick to nitpick and condemn him for every perceived injustice (including calling sylvanas a bitch).

as for what blizz wants to do? blizz is blizz. if theyre letting sylvanas fly under the radar to get her later or to redeem her later, it’s still up to them. BUT REALLY WHISPERING SHORE AND HIGH ELVES GOING CRAZY WHEN THEY LANDED IN TG MANY MANY MOONS AGO UHHHH OLD GOD BURIED THERE ORWAT
